Private and Bespoke EFT Group Training

EFT Master Trainers Tamara and Peter Donn are pleased to offer EFT training to private groups online and in-person in the UK and worldwide.

These can be our existing in-full Accredited EFT Level 1 and 2 training, or bespoke training that aligns with your own requirements.

We have almost four decades of experience between us facilitating EFT sessions and trainings which allows a profound depth of theoretical and – importantly - practical knowledge to each training. This enables our students to reach highly competent levels, and get the best possible results in even complex client cases.  When answering questions, the feedback from each trainer can offer multiple perspectives based on the experience of each.  Read more about "Why Train With Us"?

We were delighted in 2025 to have been the first training organisation to run full accredited training to mental health professionals in the NHS to use with their clients. This was a great success and shows how EFT is becoming respected and mature in the field. As the research base grows rapidly, and proves its efficacy across a variety of metrics, we expect it to be adopted more and more widely in public health environments.

EFT, whilst appearing simple in its common and basic “script” format in online events and videos, can be applied at a whole new depth when its many protocols are used in ways taught at our formal training. We have had students who have been using EFT for years say they had no idea how powerful this modality was, once they had attending the training.

We are proud to be able to deliver EFT training at a level which allows students to understand what is happening beneath the surface, and know how to navigate the client’s issue landscape safely and comfortably whilst picking and using the many protocols skilfully.

Public and Private EFT Group Training Pricing

We run public EFT training courses in Hertfordshire, UK and online, and these are priced based on the following:

  • Each training is taught by two EFT Master trainers, benefiting from the experience of both.
  • We usually have around 16-21 participants with several volunteer emotional helpers. As our Hertfordshire location is the geographic epicentre of most of our trainings, these volunteers are usually able to easily get to our in-person trainings within a small travel time each day.
  • This set-up allows each participant to receive individual help during the exercises as needed.
  • In-person training is held at venues within 10 minutes of where the trainers live.
  • Our EFT Level 1 and 2 trainings are each 21 hours each. For in-person trainings these take the format of 3 days each (a total of 6 days for both levels). For online trainings, there are 6 x half-days each (a total of 12 x half days for both levels).
  • These timings don’t includes around 3 hours of video-based training (total) which are done in the participant’s own time before and after each training.

Private EFT Group Training

We are happy to quote for private EFT group training. We can offer similar prices to our public training prices provided that:

  • The venue location is a short drive from our existing location (up to 30-45 minutes, in rush hour).
  • The group size is at least 16 people.
  • The pre- and post-video training can also be done outside the live training time.  Otherwise the training will need to include an additional half-day in total to for us to teach that video material live.

If this isn’t the case, the following will affect the pricing quotation:

  • The venue location; if we need to travel a further distance, then we need to price in the following:
  •           Accommodation, travel and sustenance costs. Because of the depth of the work and focus and emotional holding the trainers provide during the training, we wish to be on-site the night before the training and night of the last day of the training.  Therefore a 3-day training would involve 4 nights accommodation costs, for example.
  •           Travel and packing time; It typically takes us a day of time each way when travelling to non-local training locations. This includes several hours packing training materials and equipment and personal effects for the accommodation, as well as the travel time itself. And the same in reverse for the journey back. This means for a 3-day training, for example, we need to allocate 5 days of total time for both trainers, which will affect pricing.
  • Venue costs; We have managed to source very reasonably priced local venue space on our public trainings, however for remote trainings it needs to be considered that venues can be very expensive to the point where it would significantly add to the per-participant training price.  We ask that private groups source and (if it is not in an existing business space) pay for their own venue space.  We give guidance as to the space needed.
  • The number of participants; If there are a smaller number (e.g. 10), then the per-participant price will be higher. In this case, we could consider running the training with a single trainer to keep costs down, and a couple of volunteer support helpers. If those helpers need also to travel, then their accommodation and other expenses need to be covered also.

We prefer, though, to teach with both trainers if possible as participants benefit from the combined experience of both, and because, in such a deep healing and learning environment where personal issues and trauma may be being addressed, the presence of two trainers can also feel like a deeper, protective holding.
  • If the pre- and post-video-based training needs to be taught within the live training time, then an additional half-day will need to be allocated to this.

Accredited EFT Practitioner Certification

If you are looking for your group to have the option of becoming an Accredited Certified EFT Practitioner, they will need to attend our standard EFT level 1 and 2 live training and then go on to join our EFT Practitioner Certification Programme which comes as a separate cost.

Our certification is accredited by EFT International – the largest professional EFT accrediting body in terms of numbers of accredited EFT practitioners. Therefore if you plan a private training, EFT International insist that their entire syllabus is covered in order for them to be able to offer their accreditation.

Our syllabus not only meets EFT International standards, we go well beyond it into much greater depth - creating more skilled practitioners capable of tackling more complex issues with greater efficiency.

Online Verses In-Person Training

We offer both online and in-person training.  For our standard EFT Level 1 and 2 trainings, online trainings are offered in half-day segments usually across two or three weeks.  In-person trainings are done as three consecutive full days at each level.

Although we do know this is not always possible, we recommend in-person trainings over online trainings if possible.  This is for the following reasons:

- In-person training is full-immersion, which enables muscle memory to kick in over the days of the training.

- The trainers and workshop support volunteers are able to help participants in the exercises in a much more direct, immediate and interactive fashion; anyone needing help can call for help just by putting their hand up.  Although there is a way to do this online, in practice people tend not to use that facility as it means calling someone from another meeting room which is clunky!

- In-person trainings are very connective and strong bonds are made with others in the group during the exercises and the breaks.  This adds a very deep level of personal benefit as people are more able to connect with each other after the training and practice with each other.  It also enhances the power and enjoyment of the workshop experience itself - meaning participants leave the workshop feeling like they have been on a retreat! They feel open-hearted, relaxed and fulfilled.

- The personal healing that occurs within in-person trainings go much deeper.  This is because participants are not continually going backwards and forwards into their everyday "fight or flight" lives but are able to be present for a continuous period of time.  This results in the cumulative effect where the nervous system is relaxing more and more with each day, which means participants can safely soften into and address deeper, more subtle issues comfortably.

Having said all of that, online workshops are nevertheless still effective and have the benefit of participants being able to practice what they have learned between the online sessions.  If that is the only option available, it still works really well.

Bespoke EFT Training

For our standard training, we already have prepared materials – manuals, slides and handouts, as well as each day’s syllabus timed and planned out.

For bespoke trainings, all this needs to be separately prepared depending on your requirements. This may result in several days of extra trainer’s time which will affect the costing significantly.

If the bespoke training is going to be used in an ongoing way, then this investment may be well worth making. However if it is a one-off, it is recommended to just use our standard, existing training structure.

Note that if the possibility of EFT certification is required for one or more of your participants, then the bespoke syllabus must include the entire syllabus that is already in our standard EFT Level 1 and 2 trainings.

Suitability of Participants

A requirement for those attending our trainings is that all participants are fully on-board (those who are sceptical but open minded are welcome!).  On our public trainings, this is assumed as individuals typically pay for their own places, and wouldn't do so unless they were truly open and invested into learning EFT.  This can become an issue, though, if individuals are not paying for their own place.

Therefore, private training organisers are asked to vet potential participants and make sure:

- They have at least read about EFT, and perhaps watched introductory videos on YouTube.

- They know EFT is not a cognitive-directed therapy (although cognitive changes occur all the time with EFT, in an organic way!) but that it works deeply at the body level.  Participants need to be open and willing to work on their own issues in the exercises.  This means emotions are likely to come up.  We cultivate a safe space so that if this happens, the trainers or support volunteers use EFT to help individuals move through whatever arises - which EFT helps with effectively.  Having said that, the EFT protocols are set up to be able to help with strong issues and trauma gently; indeed this is why it can be so effective.  This very "feature" makes emotional change or release safe - and even possible - in some cases.

- They know that within the training, sharing of personal stories or issues is optional, and that there are ways of working which means it is possible to make great progress anyway.  That said, there are times when it may be helpful to share some information, should they wish to.
