Subject to a grace period, the EFT Practitioner Programme (EPCP) is Non-Refundable.
This page describes why we have this policy.
Firstly, we ensure those joining the EPCP have informed consent about this policy in seral ways:
All of the above give details of a few days grace after purchasing the EPCP, within which you can request a full refund.
There are several reasons why we have a "non-refund" policy:
1. Ensuring Committment; Having a programme which is non-refundable ensures that the applicant is fully committed to the programme and enters it with the full intention of putting in the effort required to complete it. This gives us the assurance that the applicant is serious about completing the programme and we will do our utmost to help them complete it successfully.
2. Incentivising Completion; This financial commitment also provides valuable motivation to stay engaged with the programme. It nudges participants to move through self-sabotage and moments of self-doubt or hesitation and increases the likelihood of completing the certification successfully.
3. Avoiding Refund Complexity 1: EFT Session Packages; This applies if an EPCP package was purchased which includes EFT sessions (the “VIP 6” or “VIP 12” options). These EFT session packages are offered at a large discount off the regular price of EFT session packages for the purposes of helping students fulfil the “4 received sessions” as well as learning from the trainers facilitating.
If we were to allow a refund of the whole EPCP programme, then it would negate the special EPCP session rate and the sessions that have already taken place would have to be re-priced back up to the standard (non-EPCP) session rates, based on single-session prices.
As an example, as of 31/10/25 the effective discounted one-hour session rate of an EPCP session works out at £96 (based on the 6 or 12 session package). The standard single session rate outside the EPCP is £145.
4. Avoiding Refund Complexity 2: Partial Use of EPCP; The EPCP contains several components, of which the individual on the programme may have done one or more of them in a given time period. For example they may have attended a group mentoring, or a case study may have been reviewed. Additionally, the student may have taken the trainer’s time on phone calls or getting questions answered by email, as relating to the EPCP. Administrative time is also taken setting the individual up on our computer system and making updates as requirements are completed. If refunds were allowed, there would be a complex process of working out what the value would be of services and time provided to date. This is messy and could cause friction if there a difference of opinion in that value.
5. Maintaining "EFT Training Centre" Stability of Operation; Like most training providers, another reason we maintain a non-refund policy is to ensure the financial stability of our programmes. As a small organisation offering certification to limited cohorts, cancellations have a proportionally greater impact on our operations. For this reason, once an individual commits to the certification process, their place is secured on a non-refundable basis.
Worried about running out of time on the EPCP? Carrying it forwards...
If you don't complete the EPCP requirements in the first 12 months, unused elements (e.g. case study reviews) can be carried forwards, giving you a chance to do the certification at a later point. You will need to re-take the EFT training (potentially only Level 2) as a refresher (at a very large discount) unless you can show you have been practicing the various protocols and feel confident you can facilitate them comfortably
